Moores Says Bowlers Must Rethink Tactics

Peter Moores says that England’s Bowlers need to rethink their tactics if they are to make any progress in the 2015 World Cup after collapsing to defeat against Australia. The hosts smashed England’s attack for 105 runs off the final 10 overs as the tactic of opting for an abundance of slow, short deliveries failed.

England continued their recent record of leaking runs in the closing overs at an alarming rate. Having already cost them the Tri Series final, it seems that opponents have worked out exactly what England will do and a fresh approach is needed in time for the next fixture against New Zealand on Friday.
