The Wisden Cricketer has joined forces with ClubTurf, the leading supplier of artificial pitches, to give readers’ clubs the chance to win a pitch worth up to £10,000.

Egerton Park CC in Leicestershire won TWC’s last ClubTurf pitch competition below and had their new pitch opened as part of their Charity Cricket Day in July by Derek Underwood MBE, sales director of ClubTurf, with Jonathan Agnew also in attendance.

All ClubTurf installations are carried out by the company’s highly trained staff and are not subcontracted to non-cricket specialists. ClubTurf installs only cricket facilities and each pitch has 12-month’s insurance against vandalism and theft.

For your chance to win, simply tell us in no more than 250 words why your club or school is most deserving of a new pitch. Include important facts such as the special activities the ground hosts, how many people it benefits, how many juniors are involved and how often community sessions take place. Feel free to include photographs but note that we are unable to return entries. Send your nomination to Win a pitch competition, The Wisden Cricketer, 2nd Floor, 123 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 9SL or email competitions@wisdencricketer.com with subject line ‘Win a pitch competition’ by January 21, 2011.
